This page explains what happens to your information when you use Stickman Story Maker at stickmanstorymaker.com.

The short version

You don't need an account. We don't ask for your name or email to use the tool. Your stories and videos stay on your own device.

Your stories

The tool saves your current story in your browser's local storage, so it's still there when you come back. This data stays on your device. We can't see it. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

The site itself does not send your stories anywhere, but if you click "Open ChatGPT" or "Open Claude" in the "Make a story with your own AI" box, the instructions and any story idea you typed are put in a link to that AI website, and that website's own privacy policy then applies.

Your videos

Videos are made inside your browser and downloaded straight to your device. We don't upload, store, or view them.

Fonts

The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser connects to Google, and Google may receive basic technical details such as your IP address. See the Google Privacy Policy for more.

Real voices

The "Real voices" switch is off unless you turn it on. When you turn it on, your browser downloads a voice model and its helper code from outside sources: the Kokoro voice model from Hugging Face (huggingface.co) and the voice code from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net). When your browser downloads these files, those services may receive basic technical details such as your IP address. The voices then run on your own device. Your story text is never sent anywhere: the spoken lines are made inside your browser. To save time, finished spoken lines are kept in your browser's storage on your device; clearing your browser's site data removes them.

Hosting

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested. These logs help keep the site running and secure.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. If this ever changes, we'll update this page first.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to the site; it does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.

Children

We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
